They are finally here!
I have been waiting almost two months on my SS ficher connectors, God, I was almost giving up on them, but they have finally arrived here in Sweden. Tonight I will bill, drill, and mill. Tomorrow we will try out the new canister and the new cable connectors, cross my heart. I will give you readers a detailed report on the trial dive on monday. I will hopefully have some pictures by then. Have a nice weekend! :=)

Learning new stuff and helping science
Hi there people!

What has happend the past weeks? Well, I am still waiting on parts from fischer connectors... :( , but to keep myself busy I have helped our science guys at the Swedish Defence Research Agency (FOI) by acting as a "lab rat diver". It was fun and I learnt one or two things about my body and my limits.
14 celcius degrees in the water, cold!

Another thing that I have been doing during the past weeks is that I have decided to learn how to program PICs so that I can use them in the Hunchback project. I decided to start of softly so I bought the Basic stamp starter kit and I will learn this stuff from the very basic level and forward. I will start off with baby steps and progress slowly forward to more advanced stuff. I am learning new things every day now and it is great fun. I have decided a while ago that I will learn three new things every day for the rest of my life, and I will keep that promise! At the very same time I am learning the .net structure for Visual Basic, intresting stuff.

This is what I do on my spare time besides finswimming 9 kilometers per week in the local pool and speed walking 80 minutes per day to keep in shape for the all the fun and crazy dives this summer. I have stoped running because a) it is so boring b)it will destroy your knees in the long run...... Low impact training and a healthy diet is my new approach on life and it affects the project in a very positive way.

Enough said, keep in shape, learn 3 new things every day, get enough sleep every night, and you will stay healthy!
