I have finally done some small improvements to the hunchback! I have added an air2 solution as bailout to my wing for shallow water diving and I have rerouted some LP hoses and adjusted the length of the O2 hose. I will soon publish more pictures here and on RB world!

 

Saturday I was going for another testdive when an odd thing happend. I was doing all of my last checks when the pressure dropped off from my dil??!!! I had still 230 bar on my pressure gauge, but I had no pressure in my LP hoses and the first stage did not deliver any LP gas?! I aborted my dive plans and took the rig home. The first stage was stuck. I could not unscrew it and that meant that it was still pressure in the HP hose, but not in the LP hoses, weird! What to do? Drill a small hole into a blind plugg for the HP side or what?? I was thinking hard untill I made my decision , I would force the HP hose of the first stage and sacrifice an O-ring, that would be the safest and cheapest solution to solve the problem! Sure enough, after a couple of turns it let go of the gas and the problem was solved! I changed O-rings on the first stage. Time for an overhaul! I still don´t know how/why this problem occured, but it happend after I had just filled my dil tank.  I will ask some friends here in Sweden if the have had the same experience. Take it easy!
